Feb 23 2012- Ball Jointshttp://ajwperformanceproductsblog.com Downpipes/Uppipeshttp://ajwperformanceproductsblog.com Tuning + Turbos!

The best part about having such a great day at the shop is writing about it to share with everyone else.

Today we attacked in full forcehttps://ajwperformanceproductsblog.com overflowing our workspace in the shop more work had to be performed in the parking lot! It will be time for that larger building sooner than we thought!

The Black 2003 Legacy GT:

Tyler’s legacy came in to AJW Performance a couple months ago for some engine workhttps://ajwperformanceproductsblog.com and a clutch kit. Since then he has upgraded/ replaced his ball joints and tie rods with some brand new OEM ones which we supplied him from Subaru. Ball joint installations on Subaru’s are hit or misshttps://ajwperformanceproductsblog.com sometimes they take 2 hourshttps://ajwperformanceproductsblog.com sometimes they are frozen and fight you every step of the way and take 6.

The 2005 Subaru Outback XT

Just the other day we did a 60https://ajwperformanceproductsblog.com000 mile service on this outback for Chip. Chip just picked the car uphttps://ajwperformanceproductsblog.com and wanted us to run through it. He also wanted to do some upgrades. We set him up with a downpipehttps://ajwperformanceproductsblog.com uppipehttps://ajwperformanceproductsblog.com and tune to get his power up to par and to make that grocery getter a true sleeper.  His AJW Performance street tune allows for more flowhttps://ajwperformanceproductsblog.com and better fuel economy paired with his new catless uppipe and downpipe.

A couple of things to take care of with these vehicles are the catted OEM uppipeshttps://ajwperformanceproductsblog.com and the banjo screen/filter.It is best to remove both of these potential time bombs with a catless up pipehttps://ajwperformanceproductsblog.com and removing the screen completely. When the screen gets clogged with particles the turbo blowshttps://ajwperformanceproductsblog.com often followed by the motorhttps://ajwperformanceproductsblog.com so needless to say this is the true definition of precautionary maintencance which our knowedgable tech’ s and sources can do for our customers.

Blue WRX outside

The WRX just got finished being built by us here at AJW Performance. We did a new 2011 STi short blockhttps://ajwperformanceproductsblog.com paired with some nice CP forged pistons and ARP head studs. The vehicle is getting a stock turbo for engine break inhttps://ajwperformanceproductsblog.com then we are going bigger with it shortly after!
